Please have a listen and let me know...we dont have the right stuff for recordin and all, but we are gettin there...thanx :D First song you will here is called Gettin Dirty/remix that's our #1 right now...always addin to it. Be aware that there is cussing here...not all songs, but some. The next you might want to hear is "Rock Dis Party," more of a club song.

A battered old Roland XP-10 that I've borrowed from a friend.

That, and my lousy Squier Jazz bass. And a cheapo no-name guitar. Plus Beatcraft for beats and strange rhythms.

Wrote a new piece of music. Simply called Battle Theme III, since I wrote it trying to make a battle theme for an RPG or some other video game.

I have lots of stuff for you to hear! Especially if you're an adventurous listener!

I'm on MySpace and Last.fm:

http://www.myspace.com/noisesoundmusic
http://www.last.fm/music/matt+holland

You can stream most of my music on Last.fm. I don't like the quality of most streaming music, but I think the streams of EP and gyre and gimble are okay. If you happen to be a member of Last.fm, then feel free to friend me or leave feedback. My username is handmeups.

At these links, you can download some of my music at better quality:

Claustrophilia is my first CD-length release from early this year:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?oche5itpzw2

"John Wiese Can Suck My Burning Sound Card" is a single from earlier this month:
http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my/igiz/JohnWieseCanSuckMyBurningSoundCard
(the title humorously references another musician who is pretty popular for this kind of music and I have been blamed by a couple of people for imitating)

gyre and gimble is my latest release of two short tracks from just last week:

Enjoy!

Hey everyone, I have some songs at http://www.myspace.com/pratfallsbathos

I've been listening to a few of the links posted here, certainly seems we're a talented bunch. I've particularly enjoyed Kerry Lambert in Blightyland, Immoderate Past and Mike George (sorry I'd need to look back to see what your WP names are.)

Feel free to add me as a friend and talk to me on MySpace, I only have 2 or 3 'friends' on MySpace that aren't self-promoting bands.

i think this is the coolest thread here; and any other forum that showcases our skills and talents. so much discussion on the asperger issues, and not enough focus on our qualities and strengths. we need more positivity and collective self confidence, just my opinion. i like pretty much all the musicians songs i've heard here.

if there's one common thread i'm hearing; it's uniqueness and ingenuity!

thanks!

thanks, sorry I've not got any CDs yet, it never occurred to me that anyone would want one. If there's enough interest I could do proper recordings of a few songs and make a reasonably priced limited edition EP. So if anyone's interested send me a PM (i don't want to fill up this thread with the colossal demand such an offer will generate :p), also if you want to say what your favourite tracks are that might help.

I make techno, often with an industrial edge.

Xelebes - Prairie Syndrome

Slightly inspired by Venetian Snares' album, Winnipeg is a Frozen Sh*thole, this is a piece that is extremely aggressive, savage and relentless. It picks a pace and keeps with it.

Xelebes - Tried to Speak

Less aggressive but just as relentless. A more subdued acid techno track, something I envisioned to make something that could also be slow-danced to, oddly enough.

What is "Emotronic"?
You can really growl!
The name of your band sounds like a description of an Aspie.
Nice songs. I play bass and I would like to put together a band some day, but currently I haven't come any further than writing songs.

God knows what Emotronic is. It's just there to take the proverbial mickey, for laughs, lolz, lulz, "Poos" and Giggles, whatever.
And for the band name, I never really thought of it like that, but it fits. Haha
Thanks for the compliments too.
If you wanna put together band, then go for it. What's there to stop you?
