Is that you^, HighLlama? If so, have you posted any of your music around these parts?
edit: listening to 'Here Come The Rattling Trees', presently, and it is wonderful

I wish! :) I just love the band and they inspired my screen name. There is a lot of collaboration between the High Llamas and Stereolab, so you may also love Stereolab if you're not familiar with them.

Nice Eno pick. I really love On Land.

Ah, I love On Land, as well. Indeed, I happened upon Stereolab while listening to The High Llamas. I was not familiar with them, previously. I do like them very much. Thank you for the suggestion and, thank you, especially, for the introduction to The High Llamas_!

i tried looking for tears for fears albulms in our local thrift store; there were none! but youtube has the album "tears roll down" (named after one of its songs also) which has the most classic TFF hits ever, including "sowing the seeds of love" shout, head over heels

You might want to try eBay, I've bought a few CDs from there. It's hard to find anything that's not mainstream rock/pop in brick and mortar stores, though I did find a copy of Atari Teenage Riot's "60 Second Wipeout" at a pawn shop once.

Last few albums I've picked up were Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool, Iggy Pop - Post Pop Depression, The Drones - Feelin Kinda Free, David Bowie - Blackstar and Mastodon - Remission. All were pretty good really.

Amazon is often pretty good too for cheap used CD's - hit or miss but sometimes you stumble on something you've been looking for. Just watch the description, make sure it says 'no scratches' or something similar.
