Finished The Briar King and picked up an abridged version of Don Quixote along with Briar King's sequel, The Charnel Prince.

Usually I read one book at home, and one at work. I'll finish Don Quixote first, because I'm reading it at work. :D

I just finished "Cell" by Stephen King. This was the first time I'd read anything by him, and I have to say, it was wonderful. In the book anyone who uses a cell phone turns into a zombie. That said, it doesn't have any of the zombie movie cliches, it doesn't have an over-reliance on gore, and in general I find it hard to even call it a horror book. It's really more of a combination of drama, thriller, dark humor, and social commentary. I can't say much without spoiling it, but suffice to say the story builds and builds. I found it hard to put down...the pace was relentless, but there was always great detail and description.

Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse

"Was it really Prajapati who had created the world? Was it not Atman, He alone, who had created it? Were not the gods forms created like me and you, mortal, transient?"

Up High in the Trees by Kiara Brinkman.

It is about an extraordinary eight year old boy. They haven't said he has AS or any other ASD but it reads like he does, and I think when someone who read it, reviewed it, they mentioned it. Anyway, it is pretty good. It is fiction.

Functional Behavior Analysis for People with Autism, by Beth A. Glasberg, PhD. It is an interesting book, but addresses AS very briefly.
