yes i played it but i am not sure if i "wrote it" and here is why:
i like to play keyboard instruments, and i particularly like to play piano. i have a cassio electric keyboard (cheap but adequate (except i have no sustain or damper pedals)). i have a real piano at the house that i own, but i do not live there due to a complicated set of reasons.
anyway, i have an urge to produce music for myself often, and sometimes i hear a song on the radio in the car, and i listen carefully and i think "i like that. i will play it when i get home", and it winds up taking a few days to produce my cover version, which i listen to a few times and then i am over it.
i have 3 modes of musicality.
1. i hear a song on the radio, and i carefully listen to it (if i like it), and i remember every note and sonic aspect of the song, and i "cover" it to the best of my ability.
2. a set of chords will be playing in the background of my mind, and i think "hmmmmm...i recognize that. where have i heard that before? i can not quite remember where i heard it, and i can not say what the song is, but it sounds very familiar, and i am curious". then i go home and play an approximation of the chordal structure (and record it) because i want to hear it as an external listener rather than as a subject of it.
i think that the song i played to the clip you are talking about was something cobbled from various snippets of songs i had already heard.
3. sometimes i am struck by a totally new and unique musical idea (in my opinion(which is formed in my microcosm)) , and i know it is mine because i can feel myself assemble it. those are ideas that i develop in isolation, and i rarely display things that i would find impossible to "explain".
i played the electric piano in the audio track of the animation, and i do not know whether i inspired it, or whether i subconsciously remembered it. i do not consider that music track very important in my library of files. i never even finished it.
music is easy to compose if you know all the chords in every key that can exist. there is no art to it at all. it is all in the logical assembly.

I understand exactly what you're saying because I have done the same thing, but not with an electric keyboard. I don't think you can compose music without having some kind of musical influences. I like all of the songs I've heard you play, in your videos, some of them I love, some examples, like the first and second songs in the Commodore sv6 video you posted in the other forum here at WP.
This is probably a long-shot but by any chance do you know of someone who created some complex fractals (not so unlike yours but they had used Chaos, I believe) a couple of years ago by the name of "O"? I came across some of them made by this person who posted them to be used freely but I no longer have them(my phone broke). I've tried to search for this person on the Internet again but I can't locate their website. I would love to have some of them again to use for various things.

i do not check out other peoples videos because i am not interested.
i know there are very smart people who use pre written software to craft their own fractal designs, but i wrote my own program suite that can handle what i imagine. i know that the eternal invaginations of a fractal design are impossible to capture without a predefined set of seeds and rules, and they can have various personalities.
here is an interesting example you may not have already seen,
this is my composition. i used woodwinds where i should have played piano.
but the woodwind instruments worked very well. i can play better if i copy other songs but....i like to play what i myself imagine

or maybe just close your eyes and listen to the song.

I like this song, it's really interesting, too bad it doesn't last longer than it does. I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing your future videos and pictures, b9. You have an amazing imagination and you're great at composing music and creating fractal videos and pictures.

That's a great video. She's a cute tiny little one. I hope she has a wonderful birthday today.

Brandon, You have a cute style of drawing your characters but I can see some people taking offence to your cartoons. I personally don't see anything funny about some Middle Easterners wanting to destroy Western Civilization and I'm not comfortable with the way you portrayed Jews as my father was one. There is nothing funny about an Iranian leader or anyone denying the Holocaust ever happened or what other stupid ideas he may have about Jews. Of course it's your art and you have the right to express how you feel. I'm sure some will have no problems with your cartoons at all. So whatever.

i am glad you thought it was OK.
i do not understand well the meaning of "thinking outside of boxes", but i know it is a good thing that you said.
it is good that you can follow the music despite its format.
it is not imagination that i used to create the ability to "fly" in an ocean liner.
i saw the ship in a harbor once as i was flying in for a landing somewhere, and i saw that it was moving, so i realized is was an "ai traffic" object and not a static rendition.
i then went through the "ai traffic library" directory and found the ship, and i opened it's configuration file, and i control copied the texture part of the file into the configuration file of an inferior 747 , and i found that i could load the ship as a valid "plane" to fly.
but of course i did not have the thrust or the aerodynamic capacity to do so, and so i edited the ships performance configuration file to give it 12 million pounds of thrust in 4 engines (unseen), that can catapult a 130,000 tonne vessel skyward. and i wrote it's aerodynamic lift to be unrealistically high.
i thought of it ages ago, and i uploaded a video to youtube a long time ago when the maximum resolution was 320x240.
here it is ( i also worked on the sound file to make it sound "gigantic and powerful"), and it is a very crude precursor to the clip you posted about.
it is not very good but tra la la la la.
