there are 3 phases of thought in this.
the foreground and the background, and what is behind that which is nothing.

it is not very good, but i could modify it.

i use a "ripple" algorithm that i wrote to render pre-programmed variances on the sub horizon as a "water like" setting.

i can not possibly begin to detail how i thought of the pattern.

good night.

I think it's pretty cool. My mind wants to make sense of patterns so I see a Buddha like figure holding two spheres above water.

I like the ripple effect. It does look like some kind of being holding something in liquid or water like Aimless said above, but it looks like claws instead of hands or speres to me. I really like the crystalized splash effect around and above the claws/hands/speres too.

The being looks like some kind of faceless tree being to me and it looks like a little animal face/head on top of this being. It's really cool. Some outer parts remind me of your 090122 with music xvid 8, complex fractal animation video, which I think of as The Owl video because it looks like you are moving towards an owl when it starts out. B9, were you trying to create a being when you create this or were you just going for a specific design?

Drawing is my special interest. These I did at work on the back of maps of the museum (except for the color beetle which was done on a piece of loose-leaf):

I made a guitar, that should probably be considered art.

The wood for the body comes from a 100 year old chest of drawers.
The neck is a Danelectro Baritone neck, 30" scale. Tuned BEAD, 5 1/2 steps lower than a guitar.
The horns are buffalo, they are bass reflex ports.
The brass plate I cut with a drill press and dremel tool and etched with ferric acid.
Under the brass plate is a 9' brass resonator cone.
The pickups (all 8 of them) are wired for stereo: a downstroke comes out of Amp#1, upstroke comes out Amp#2.
There is a 9th pickup under the resonator cone.

Yes, I play left handed on a right handed guitar, upside down and backwards.

Burnbridge,

This has to be the most unique guitar I've seen. I wish I could create such awesomeness.

Fern,

The wildlife illustrations are beautiful. Love the Ethiopian Wolf.

Maybe one day I'll share some of my stuff. :)
