^ Great models, I especially like the brown one!

Here's a couple of drawings of a new character of mine, a Neolithic Sudanese warrior from 6500 BC:

It's beautiful! :) What a wonderful surprise to see this pop up on my screen because I was talking and wasn't paying attention to which link I clicked on.

Well, Here's some of my work.
The first two are works in progress:

"Talk Therapy"

Image,
"Mask #1"

The next few are a selection of my illustrations from my children's book:

More illustrations:

These are of a portrait I did of a thoroughbred mare, and a silver sculpture pendant:

Any helpful critiques would be welcome, especially since I'm kind of teaching myself. Trial n error might not cost me so much $$$ If I can get constructive feedback.
Thanks :)

I really like the coat, and the green dress. Now, if only I were tall enough to actually wear the coat, and had the figure for the dress I'd be in business. :thumright:

"About the green design"

"b9" The first thing I thought of was seeing this inlaid on a ceiling in a grand ballroom somewhere. With a huge chandelier dripping with crystal hanging from the center.
Gorgeous!

that is more how it should look. not squashed.

the green interior is fraught with pressure gradients that are easily vented through the blue exterior.
they are synergistic (deliberately so)

It is lovely and regal in colour b9.
I see it as if I were looking through a spy hole into Buckingham Palace Throne Room.

Homo neanderthalensis with his Homo sapiens mate.

It seems that most of the few Paleolithic interracial (interspecies?) couples I've seen in art juxtapose a Neanderthal woman with an anatomically modern man, but I wanted to reverse the sexes for my version. This couple would probably be living in the Middle East around 50,000 years ago, not long after modern humans left Africa.

To be honest, I don't think Neanderthals and modern humans would have interbred too often if at all, since their cognitive differences would make for some challenging dating.
