Those three complex fractals are absolutely beautiful B9. Thank you for sharing them.

A lower-ranking soldier from ancient Sumer in southern Mesopotamia (now Iraq). A more elite soldier would have worn an armored cloak and helmet, but I wanted to show off this guy's torso anatomy.

A lot of artists reconstruct the Sumerians and other Mesopotamians as light-skinned people like Europeans, but the few Sumerian paintings we have recovered suggest that they were significantly darker than that (see here and here), so I've rendered his skin tone as fairly dusky.

is there anyone else here who has an account on Tegaki? I have one friend on that site and that's only because we were friends in real life first.
plus it's hard for me to try to make friends (all I really want is someone to mess areound and doodle with me) with the combination of being an Aspie and being afraid that anyone I might try to talk to will be a better artist than me.

alright I guess I'll give an example..
mature only, I guess >.>

A redesign for my OC Heru, a warrior from Neolithic Sudan circa 6500 BC. The main addition to his design is the ostrich feather sticking out from behind his headband; it's supposed to make him look more like a leader.

Heru's father Ausar was the patriarchal headman of his clan, but he was murdered by his jealous brother Sutekh. Now Aset, Ausar's wife, wants to raise Heru to avenge his father, but her second husband Djehuti would rather Heru peacefully follow in his footsteps as a shaman/healer. Meanwhile, Sutekh grows so drunk with power that he poses a threat to Heru's family...

I felt like ink painting this week. It was nice to get my hands all stained-up again!

Oh my god, that's awesome! unbelieveable beautiful. no matter how fast you may have painted it,
it's so esthetical and dynamical though of it's non-geometrical structure.
If this picture expresses your soul I might be in love with you now!^^

It took me a while to figure out what this was supposed to be, but it's lovely.

Wow, Thank you! Those are some high praises. I don't know what to say.
I don't know if this is really the far-most expression of my soul per se, but I do rather like the way it turned out. I was trying to capture the movement of the late karate master Osamu Ozawa. The reference I used was a very old photograph in which, as a young man, he was actually soaring over another man's head while doing this kick. Not exactly functional I suppose, but certainly expressive! The movement I can see in those old karate books, even in a still frame. That was what I was trying to capture.

It it definitely expresses the fighters pride. But much more than the expression of what it really is, your way of expressing it, the esthetic that comes from your hands, the denotative shades that are drawn and the ones that are not drawn, the composition of it all which appears to be very intuitive;
Beautiful!

Anime-style fanart of a crossover pairing I came up with: Lydia from Beetlejuice and Marceline from Adventure Time. I probably made a lot of mistakes on it, but I wasn't aiming to create a masterpiece. I just wanted to put up something fun for Halloween (even though now it is a day late).

"TIMEBREWING"
Image
It expresses the feeling of death I felt when my medicine had those bad side effects on my heart and I nearly died.
it was a strong and very intense feeling but I'm afraid this picture doesn't express it well enough.
maybe anyone could empathise while looking at it.

"THE COKE COMPANY"
Image
This is how the thought of the Coke Company in my head looks like^^

^ That's a neat way of expressing the mental images in your head.

Awes - Can you resize them at your photo storage website? That's what I do on mine so that my photos aren't so large and WP doesn't resize them like that. You could probably upload them to photobucket and do it if you can't do it at the one you are already using.
