This is a picture of Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic along with two of my original characters: her mate Starry Night and their filly Moonlight Shadow.

I'll likely add some of my other stuff at some point but for now this is my favourite drawing I've done.

Image

It took me around 10 or so hours and was all done by memory. Sorry about the picture quality it was taken with my phone.

I particularly praise the crispness and the intricacy of this one. I reminds me of a Giant Tube Worm's beard. What are your inspirations?

Thank you both!

The top 2 pictures are from a fractal program called Apophysis. I love flowing and colorful artwork in that format. Apophysis is a math based program working on triangulation. I was experimenting on increased triangulations when this one came to be. I call it Rapsodie dans Rouge. If you are on facebook, send me a private message and I'll friend you. I have a lot of them in an album plus a lot of my photos and other artwork. :) Here are some other ones.

They're absolutely beautiful. I love Masquarade. I haven't made a facebook account yet but when I do, I'll take you up on that offer. Thank you for sharing these.

The continent of Noah crosses three climatic zones: the north is temperate, the middle is arid desert, and the south is tropical. Each of these regions is considered a subcontinent and has been given its own name: the north is Japheth, the middle is Shem, and the south is Kam. White areas with dots are desert, lightly shaded areas with faint streaks are grasslands, and darkly shaded areas are forested.

Noah's human populations are sorted into three races corresponding to the three climatic zones. The Japhethites are white, the Shemites are olive-skinned, and the Kamites are black. The people in all three races live in mostly tribal Copper to Early Bronze Age societies, with no extensive empires and large cities being scarce. As a general rule, Japhethite and Shemite cultures tend to be patriarchal whereas Kamites favor matriarchies in which political and spiritual responsibilities are traditionally vested in women rather than men.

Interesting; this is very creative. How did you come up with the names for the regions?

^ Most of my place names are actually of Biblical or other mythological origin.

Image

Yaghoub, a Shemitic sorceror/priest is the antagonist for Gareth and Kasaqa's story. A competitive and power-hungry man who clawed his way to the top of his tribe's priestly caste, Yaghoub is a devotee of the demon Zarathya and would do anything to promote his infernal sponsor to godhood. He believes that an amulet belonging to Kasaqa's tribe will do just that.

This was actually originally planned to be a female character named Yeganeh, but I made her into a man because I figured that a woman wouldn't likely ascend to a prestigious position in a patriarchal Middle Eastern society.

A tattoo idea I came up with when I had my 'FOX' obsession. I used my best friends name for it and I especially like the 'J' I came up with. Hopefully some day I will be able to go get this done. I know most people think name tattoos are a bad idea, but it will always be my body and if some girl doesn't like my best friends name on me, then it's her problem

^ I like the J in that tattoo design!

Kasaqa is the matriarchal chieftess of a tribe in the Kamitic region of Badari. Following in her mother's footsteps, she will do anything to protect and nurture her people despite her reputation as a stern and humorless ruler. She received martial training when she was younger but is hesitant to leap into combat unless it is absolutely necessary. She has a love affair with the Japhethite sea captain Gareth, but she is unaware of his piratical career...
