I actually listen to all the artist that wer mentioned so for Have you guys been browsing my hardrive I have all this except I'm not familiar with Powersource. (I'm very immature in some ways OK!? I think Miley's the worst by for because she was the most successful. I worked in retail a couple years ago & Miley was all over electronics, toys, back to school, & clothing. She was also the #1 idol for sick pervs. I found it disturbing that so many dads let their daughters dress up as Hannah Montana. I seen her on Lenno 1ce talking about how soap taste. Lenno's other guest was the guy who plays the gay cop on Reno911 & Miley was giving him these creepy looks What's really scary thou is that some people actually consider her good role model. I wonder if they've been smoking soap to

Finally someone who agrees with me. Most annoying voice ever. That's why I listen to everything but that crap. And don't get me started on that manufactured rap crap.

The fact that The Simpsons has essentially been going at the quality it is now for ten years has made me lose an irreversible level of respect for it, but when I saw that Ke$ha opening sequence... I just don't even want to admit to liking this show anymore. When I noticed that her song Tik Tok was played by 40000 different users weekly on Last.fm, I decided to listen to it on YouTube expecting something somewhat revolutionary in the field of mainstream pop music like Lady Gaga, and I was shocked at how authentically bad it was.

I dislike Madonna and Britney Spears.

To me, Miley Cyrus is the worst. As are The Jonas Brothers, but they're more of a boy band than pop artists.
As far as Lady GaGa goes... She's not as bad as Miley is, and I''m kind of neutral on her music. HOWEVER, I feel like I cannot state an opinion on her music, good or bad, without getting backlash.

I'd been assuming Miley Cyrus was a boy's name, like Miles. I'm so lucky to have missed that whole slice of pop culture! (I was vaguely aware of the existence of Hannah Montana, but that's about it)

I don't think it's really fair to call Miley the worst ever. She is a phenomenal child actress and enormously talented singer. As to whether there is really much substance to her music in terms of lyrics/meaning--well, that's a whole other issue!! ! But she's also marketed towards a much younger audience.

I say compare Miley with Taylor Swift and you come about even, in my opinion. But in terms of talent, compare both of them to Britney Spears. Even at such an early age, they are MUCH better gifted than Britney--who only has sex appeal IF THAT.

I'm definitely following the careers of Swift and Cyrus. I really hope neither one turns out the way Spears did. I also recognize that I'm comparing someone who is exclusively pop against pop/country singers, but I think in this case it's fair. For either of those two to follow a similar direction, though difficult if they stay in country, would be, in my opinion, a great tragedy.

I really hate Kylie&Dani Minogue, Madonna, La Roux and almost all boy/girl bands. Though unlike most of you I don't have anything against pop music. People have different tastes, everything is subjective and that's how the world should be.
Have to say, I do generally despite the cult of celebrity. What a load of BS.

I LOVE Adam Lambert, but he's the only "pop" artist (seriously, he's above that label - awesome voice, and before he was famous he had a Nirvana-esque grunge band!) I can say I like. I can't stand Justin Beiber - hate his voice, and from what I can gather from the few interviews I've seen, he is very self-absorbed. I'm okay with Lady Gaga's stuff, but can't stand to look at her - she looks like a man. As for Miley Cyrus, she needs to stop ripping off other artists. Compare these two, for example:

Adam Lambert - "For Your Entertainment"

Miley Cyrus - "Can't Be Tamed" (released six months AFTER the above)

This is kinda like worst STD: any way you look at it, you've still got leaky, bumpy genitalia.

Anyone who's in it solely for money; "artists" who rely more on their looks and stunts than their talent. Any bands invented by corporations. Anyone who rips off significant parts of their music from older, actually good songs. Anyone whose music is bland and uninteresting enough to get time on "Top 40" stations.

Should Nikki Webster be listed here I don't know a lot about her sense she was an Australian idol & I live in America but I think she is considered the Australian version of Britney Spears I'm not sure what's more disturbing this or that I bought her 3CDs
