I just wrote a weird song the other night or it came to me. You can listen if you have the time. Its best with good headphones because I like for people to see my music when you listen to it.

I made a thread about obscure music, but if I seen this thread I would have put it here. Anyway, pretty weird music here. Here's a couple examples.

One of my favorites on the site.

This song was adapted for a car commerial recently.

Nine Inch Nails, Filter, Tool......I guess it's "weird" music but I like them.

Boingo, anything Les Claypool does (Primus, colonel claypool's flying frog brigade), almost anything Mike Patton does (Mr Bungle, Fantomas, Tomahawk), The Residents, Frank Zappa, Pere Ubu.

That's the "weird" music...there's other stuff that's weird depending on who you are.

No. I love TMBG and The Flaming Lips and they didn't cross my mind immediately as weird.

Try the other videos as well since none of their music really sounds that similar.

Radioheads Kid A/Amnesiac sessions branch out a lot more than other stuff, and Hail to the Thief has wierd electronic elements too. Plus with Radiohead you get the advantage of really amazing rock based albums too :)

I also like Frank Zappa, The locust, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Crystal Castles, Flying Locust, The Butthole Surfers, Sigur Ros etc etc

Some is wierd cause its unconventional, some is actually just plain wierrrd.. i love it :) will also be checking out some other suggestions :D which i can't wait to hear!

I dunno about weird, but this list, below that I've given isn't really described as normal:

Aphex Twin
Autechre
Cannibal Corpse
Dr. Octagon
Napalm Death
Primus
Squarepusher
u-Ziq

That's just a handful, I'll think of some more later.

Einsturzende Neubauten
Aphex Twin
The Orb

I'm only familiar with these bands, i'm not a fan though.
