I was a music major in college but quit piano in Dec 2000. That was the last time I ever took piano lessons. I was so burnt out in college. All of the other students were so passionate with piano and I wasn't as passionate. I started piano when I was around 5 years old. I was taught in South Korea and also in the US so I had different methods of teaching. I was going to go on and get a masters in music therapy, but decided not to pursue it. A music professor told me how much he was making and I was stunned. He had a PHD too! He could have been lying. I never composed and never taught. I don't have the confidence to teach someone how to play piano. I sometimes do want to go back and play piano for fun. I want to do duets with someone. Actually at my work they had a social where we can meet new federal govt employees and they mentioned music. I don't know if anyone at my work plays an instrument. Maybe they will do it again in the spring. I have to ask around. I really like doing duets more so than playing solo.
