If you really want to know I can explain it to you.... Of course. OK then....

WP doesn't want to store all the data that goes with pictures and youtube video's (that's virtually impossible/ too freaking much) so WP (and other sites as well) works with links and the URLs where the original photo or video came from. ~hope I explained that right~. (correct me if I'm wrong)

But the procedure goes....

For example the picture you wanted to post (not all sites allow this but the one you linked did), move the arrow onto the picture, press right button on your mouse (right notebook-button), go to properties (at the bottom), click and there pops up a little window with the URL, copy it and go to WP, to the thread you want to post it, postreply button and press 'insert image' button in the message body. Paste the URL, mind you not to double the 'http://', press OK.... et voila. Best to preview first, maybe, to see if it works.

One of my favourite renaissance paintings by one of the oddest renaissance painters:
Perseus Freeing Andromeda, by Piero Di Cosimo

Back when I was part of what would become the Goth and Emo subcultures, I would say
that Millais' Ophelia was one of my favorite paintings.
I really did like it though, because she is so beautiful and doesn't really look dead to me,
considering how buoyant her head and torso are.
Not long after this, I started fancying the opposite of Goth.

If it's a pretty adult female wearing them, then yes, why not.
Ha ha, not really, I don't care for garish motifs on clothing.

I'm taking about sunny-toned, low or non-contrasting, traditional clothing.
For instance, most goths would never wear yellow, pink, white, mint-green or
perriwinkle unless it was to contrast black (if at all). And certainly not soft prints.

I like Caravaggio, here's his Supper at Emmaus. The light and shadow are amazing.

I like the Caspar David Friedrich paintings that Anna posted earlier, particularly the chapel-in-the-forest ones. His Sea of Ice has a creepy feel:
