Street Legal (album) - Bob Dylan
not exactly a masterpiece, but it has a few good tracks (and unlike certain following albums no downright bad tracks). Some tracks are just not too memorable.
There are two tracks which tower above everything else here:
Changing Of The Guards
Señor (Tales Of Yankee Power)
the former is a sprawling up-tempo epic of an opener with lyrics speaking of a captain, a good shepherd, a woman getting her head shaved, a palace of mirrors with dog soldiers, an endless road, angel voices, the king and the queen of swords, eden burning. there's so much imagery in it like a tapestry too big to focus on and take in its majesty.
the latter i tried to do justice, but be assured it's one of his finest tracks and the only track from the album chosen for his big retrospective "Biograph".
and also, look at this monstrosity of a back cover (his all-time worst) which surely didn't help its sales or reputation in this shallow world:
