Water dripping off of the trees and the building I live in. And I suppose I can hear some noise from cars...and crickets chirping seems the cicadas are done for the night. But aside from that silence, which is weird but nice, they have been testing the new lightrail train which has been noisy due to all the honking. Which for whatever reason is necessary for the testing. Seems they have toned it down a bit though seems like the first couple of days it was just nonstop all day and night. But yeah tonight has gotten quiet I have not heard the train for at least a half hour so that's nice.
So yeah just listening to my surroundings, nothing specific.

Love this album. I don't know if you ever listen to Ween, but they often do original songs in the style of their heroes. They have a few great Pink Floyd-style tracks, like this:

Thanks, Llama! I don't know Ween at all, but that song was definitely reminiscent of Floyd. I got a bit overwhelmed by the complex instrumental near the end (too much going on for me?) but the balance of the song was very pretty. I'll have to check out more from this band.
Wish You Were Here is extremely sentimental to me and it's clearly the best Floyd album, imo.
Thx.
