For calling their American fans idiots when they are happy to take their money and be richer than the average American. Their politics is fake.

Must be nice for them to be part of the super rich celebrity crowd that can afford to leave to US because of their supposed hatred of Trump and his supporters. I'd like to leave this country out of hatred for Trump too but unfortunately I'm neither rich nor a celebrity. Too bad.

Pot. Black. Hypocrisy.

Who taught you to say this about Green Day?

Uh, the album came out after 9/11 in response to Bush, not Trump.

You hate America, Americans, politicians, leftists, Republicans, musicians, and pretty much the entire human race last I checked. Apparently humans are skinless apes. You always want to "get out" from America and politics but you criticise people who took a stand on one issue, and were successful.

They also said in an interview that they were leaving the US and, I quote, "f**k America!" Was what their lead singer said.

Face it, they're limousine liberals like all celebrities who pretend they care about anything besides money and fame.

And yes, I do hate the entire human race. Still looking forward to doomsday because we are not worthy.

Oh and I said "hairless apes" you silly. :jester:

You say F - America all the time.
There's nothing wrong with the sentiment, especially when it's anti-war, anti-bigotry.
I thought you were against bigotry.

Just because a band was successful doesn't make them hypocrites.
They didn't aim to have redneck fans or exploit anyone.
Most of their fans are liberal and against the BS.
Any fan who was a bigot chose to support them.
The joke's on them, I guess.

People can hate their country if they want to so long as they aren't violent terrorists.
It's called freedom of speech, or freedom of thought.
They can make political or personal decisions.
No one is tied to the country where they're born, especially if they have money.
Their fans weren't all Americans, either.

I just don't get why you blame Trump when the album was released in 2004.
I don't think you're aware of the political climate post-9/11.
I'm not faulting you, but you were too young to remember the media hype and Republican rhetoric.

Their leaving America and vowing never to come back was in response to Trump.

And fine people can hate their own country if I have the right to hate the whole world and the entire human race. Fair enough. :skull:

Here's a cover of the song "A Love Suicide" from the disturbing video game Rule of Rose.

That's my point about hypocrisy.
If you can hate the whole world and the human race, why can't they hate America?
Isn't that a double standard?

Everyone's allowed to reject whoever or whatever they want, especially warmongers and bigots.
