I highly recommend this book by a young, autistic Irishman.
It is utterly delightful.

The Dream -Quest Of Unknown Kadath, by H.P. Lovecraft.

One of Lovecraft's Lord Dunsany inspired works, but definitely with plenty of horror. Great story.
