I assume it's only proper that I contribute to the community by posting some of my works here.... I'm going to have to set up another myspace music account (personality conflicts a couple of years ago caused me to delete practically every web account I had).
I use Frooty Loops, Acid Pro, Magix Music Maker, and Cakewalk....

I'll be back with the page posting

FL AND Acid? Nice!

I'm a Logic Pro 9 man myself. Also use Reason, still version 4, but it suits my needs. I'm working up some space/ambient textures both in Reason using Synclavier-generated sounds and on the Synclavier itself. When I finish one of the pieces I'm doing now, I'm going to switch over to my Roland alpha Juno 1 for my next track. I want to start by sampling the sounds I want to use but overdub using the real thing for the final product.

You mentioned a myspace music account. I've been thinking about doing that myself, and I just haven't had a chance to do it or any material worth putting up yet. Personally, I like using youtube. My "Quantum Spring" is just a still pick from PowerPoint. What might be more interesting would be making videos of me actually working on my pieces or--even better--for the work I'm doing now a slideshow of Hubble imagery to go along with the atmosphere. A video of me actually working on my music would be cool because of the history behind the keyboard I use, as there are a lot of people into that kind of music but who don't have access to the synth/workstation I use. The thing I like about youtube is the community to me seems a bit broader and yet, I dunno, "safer" than myspace. I like being able to see where in the world the most interest is coming from and how people search for and find my music. If and when I ever decide to do an album release, it will be useful to already have a target audience to drive sales.

Looking forward to hearing your stuff!

the fact you have no replies for this is evidence of the lack of true musicality in this particular thread.

http://www.soundclick.com/5pryme

Just let you guys know I'm still alive and twitching... a little at least.

Two uploads to Soundclick. I'm thinking about posting any new stuff here just because - Soundcloud's audio quality is really changing, for the worse.

Camaflague is something I started on in November, really wanted to release but it's had a great deal of trouble when I try to code it down to 128 mp3. Passable here at least. Mystery Theatre (WIP) is just that, work in process. I started it Friday, its been coming together great, just needs a few more elements IMO in certain parts and maybe a little more leveling on some percussion, otherwise though its shaping up great.

i did not mean to make you feel whatever that emoticon means (which looks unpleasant).

i was rather annoyed that night about a number of things and i was ill considered when i posted that.

this thread contains many excellent pieces.

one contributing factor to my post was that there was another thread where people were posting videos of what they were currently listening to, and genius level videos were not commented on, and they were instead followed by posts of untalented video responses, and those responses were likewise un-commented upon. i thought " this is just a scramble for everyone to show the music they like, and no one is appraising any other post".

that made me slightly annoyed, and i posted what i posted with reduced judgement. i am sorry and i retract what i said.
