Personally I can't stand it. I've listened to a fair few as I had a friend who was obsessed (in a 'wait in the artists' hotel foyer' way) but it's always grated on my nerves.

Everybody has their own taste in music. Just enjoy whatever you like.
Another song gaining international fans in 2015. And an interesting take on the whole idol system, too.

This song never gets old. And the reactions to it on YouTube are even better. For those who haven't seen it ... watch it to the end.

Something a bit different ... Family Guy just did a Korea-related episode that showed a couple of K-pop songs. More specifically, it did a full parody of Hyuna's "Bubble Pop", and showed a small clip from the actual music video of Sistar's "Touch My Body". Watch snippets from the episode, "Candy Quahog Marshmallow", below:
(Yes, that's a picture of Kim Jong-un below, but they only show a second or two of him; the rest of the video is a full-length K-pop parody song.)
People who aren't familiar with the show might find the humour in this episode insulting; but those who do know the show will probably see it as full-blown tribute to K-pop and K-dramas. They had sooooo many references to different Korean songs and shows, just in these two video clips – there was even a reference to Running Man in it.
It'd be interesting to hear your perspective, Drawyer. I loved it, personally ... but I can understand if others don't.

^ And these are the original songs, for comparison:

LOLs, Whoever made this song, they must be hard core fans of K-pop as this clips seemed to succeed in getting attentions of some groups of people. The clips attempted to describe K-pop in two words ; stupid but still likable..haha. I love clueless stupidity but I know my taste wouldn't serve many people from experience. (I'm not saying K-pop stupid, the writer of this song seemed to describe that way) As for "they eat dog" at 1:40 in the second clip, I've scarcely met any individual who eats dog in this country which is Korea. Am I supposed to eat dog? lol. Most of Koreans don't eat dog. Even if they eat them, I personally don't understand how anyone who eats chicken can have a mouth to say anything moral about eating dogs or etc. If they cannot cut consuming all types of living beings, they shouldn't judge their fellow meat eating animals like myself. I love chicken..hahahahaha.
Anyway thank you for sharing this clip. I liked them but many wouldn't.

Maybe not "stupid": Family Guy makes fun of EVERYTHING, even when they're not trying to depict them in a bad way. It's just the type of humour they use on this show. By their standards this was really tame, so I'm guessing they weren't actually mocking K-pop. And yeah, someone who works on the show clearly has to be a K-pop fan.

Totally agree. I'd never want to eat dog myself, but I still don't see how it's any different to eating other animals. Unless it's an endangered animal, or if you don't like eating animals at all: in those cases I'd be more sympathetic to any objections. And if Westerners don't like the idea of eating dogs, I can only imagine how they might react to sannakji or beondegi.
...
As for actual K-pop:
