It is impossible for me to pick a favourite metal band, there are so many i listen to and get great enjoyment from. Whether it be cheesy early 80's bands like angel witch or obscure funeral doom bands like wijlen wij. Instead i am going to pick out the only metal album that i consider to be an aesthetic masterpiece that i rank up there with Dvorak's 8th and Mendelssohn's 4th symphonies, that album is.

I haven't tried Witch, no. But the first I listened to Sleep, I had real trouble with it, I might give it another go though.
Kylesa are also rocking my boat in a serious way at the minute, though.
