Title: Multilingual's plight

The idea came from around the time when I studied German for the second time. Its heavy use of upper throat left me with strong impression. As always, I am open to comments by native speaker especially with regard to the third panel. My German suck.

This is a watercolor of Neuschwanstein Castle. It is about 16x16 in and took about 80 hrs to complete. You might not be able to see it with a cell phone photo, but I drew in the individual bricks.

Quite good! I do art myself but watercolors defeat me. Its like working backwards with light or something. Was there as well. Thought it would be hokey, but it is somehow sublimely hokey and tinged with the madness of the King who had it built. He drowned under suspicious circumstances in a lake around there somewhere, and so it is only partially finished inside.

I seem to draw/paint a lot of nude or seminude ladies, because their bodies are fun to do. I censored this one because I don't want to get in trouble :)

At first I thought it was a exotic dancer, but now understand with the coverings. I agree it does capture a lifelike feel, or maybe better said 'reality'. The pose and expression is a bit ambigious to me. Is it resigned sadness or an emptiness? Or is conflicting with the body expressing one thing (a odd twist) and the face another. Is the eye scarred or is it a embellishment ?

I mostly sculpt now, but always warriors or soldiers, and when I drew or painted that was often the subject as well. I have done a few scenic pieces, but always of places I have been. I always knew I was pretty fixated in subjects, but never made a possible ASD connection till now.

Cool paintings, ritualdrama. I especially like the bird/crane(?). There's potentially a lot going on there, given the subjective nature of art. I was reminded me of the symbolism of the pelican in the way the moon/wing appears to pierce the body of the bird. Also, the birds main body looks like a large "3" for the triple nature of the moon. And the bird and moon shapes appear very much like phallus and chalice coming together.

Thank you so much.
PS, I am so, so glad that there are other people who notice these details that you have.

I kind of want to post some of my main artwork here, but it's a little messed up. Might not go down too well. So I'll just post some WIP picture of a crow I did for the time being:

Hello all. Just thought you might have fun looking at some of my stuff. I am a high functioning autistic with Savant Syndrome. Somehow I made it through college and became an art professor before I found out. I had a severe illness that affected my mind and made my autistic symptoms more......noticeable. It has placed me in a position where I am going to have to quit because I have lost the ability to work within the "administrative bureaucracy". Its for the better. Looks like I am just going to be a plain on sculptor. Have a look if you like, its at www.darrelltousley.com good luck all.
