i particularly like sinusiodal conflicts with intentional placements of anchor points. they spill over and can be used to fortify ones standpoint.

Here's a comic I made somewhere around June or July. It's a pilot of a pilot comic I'm trying to make.

However, motivation problems have caused me to stagnate. That and having being stuck in a routine where I go to work and then go home to spend most of my time in my room on the computer (watching videos, looking up random info on Wikipedia, etc).

Along with that, I've noticed that if I try to draw while doing other stuff on the computer (especially when trying to carry a discussion via IM), whatever I make doesn't look good, that's because I'm using more of my left brain. I find that I draw best when there's little to no distractions, where I'm able to get more into "the zone."

Today, I broke the mold by watching the TV series version of Patlabor (I'm actually watching the 7th episode as I speak. :) ). Plan on working on the story after I get back from work this evening.

I did an art trade with someone and they wanted a vampire. I had a little too much fun with this.

@b9: thank you, I have been working on that.

Right click the image and select "copy image url", go to the reply box when you go to post on this thread and paste it in the text box.

Then type the image encoding stuff in. It should look something like this:

[img]http://www.exampleurl.com/exampleimage.png[/img]

Make sure it has an image type at the end of the url, so you don't get a jumbled mess of text instead of an image! Some examples: .png, .jpeg, .gif

You sometimes have to resize the image yourself because the forum software never does it properly. for that, you can just type in the resolution ratio after the image embed.

Ex:
[img][800:500]http://www.exampleurl.com/exampleimage.png[/img]

Hope this helps!

Extra brownie points for caring!

To get it spot-on - for images larger than 800x600, take the longest dimension of an image and divide it by 800 and then use the resulting number to divide the shorter dimension, finally plug in 800 and the integer result from dividing the shorter dimension into the brackets.

This BBCode extension expects the first number to be the X (horizontal) dimension and the second, the Y dimension.
Example: an image is 1500x980 pixels. 1500/800=1.875 and 980/1.875 is 522.666 - so the numbers used inside the square brackets would be: [800:522]
Another image is 960x1000 pixels. 1000/800=1.25 and 960/1.25=768 - so the additional numbers should be written as [768:800]

In general though, please try to post images no larger than 800x600.
This avoids the image being distorted in the first place and also avoids the additional delays imposed on thread loading time by including very large images, as well as the page layout disruption caused by the uncorrected ones.
Because of these reasons, moderators may convert large embedded images to clickable links instead.

More fun with $ale of the Century and anime characters on Celebrity Week in October 1988. Here we have Ami/Amy Mizuno (Sailor Moon), Jyou/Joe Kido (Digimon Adventure 01/02) and Kyouya Ohtori (Ouran High School Host Club) competing for their home viewers. This is the end of a game, and look at those scores!

it is evident. color gradations are very important in my mind, and i have many concrete ideas about color gradients, but you also know the best gradients without thinking of them in the same way i do.
you have a very temporal and visceral quality to your work (in my sole opinion),and i am not able to see things that way myself, but i can congratulate your mastery of effect (from my perspective).

here is a dive into a complicated pattern that i iterated with a musical score. it is very complex in it's structure and also in it's musical accompaniment, but i abscond from responsibility pertaining to fairness in contemplation.who cares any way. i know you are very smart indeed and i do not want you to reply because i can not be bothered replying to stuff.

but yes. you are very good in my opinion.

sometimes one can really think, and at other times, one can only tread water, and the difference between those 2 states is vast. the middle of this song is where i am treading water, but all is well in the end.
water has no substance really. i do not like it.
