This is a self portrait I did in 1974. I didn't have any art supplies except for my children's colored markers. It's on an ordinary 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I think it's very Freudian. I'm very happy right now because I have just found it in a drawer with a lot of old papers - I thought it was lost.

I haven't been on this thread for a while. Wow! There are some tremendous artists on here. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at everyone's work. I'm impressed by all of it.

What kind of art is that. It's so beautiful, but I don't know how to describe it or how you do it.

some snippet of my sketchpad. i felt torn all the way, being a camouflage nerd on the one hand, draughtsman on the other. :D
poor lad is so going shot to pieces when hes out like that, face brightly visible and exposed, not wearing enuogh facepaint, having his rifle almost bare of any camouflaging items...

edit: oh yeah... no reference. ;) i dont really enjoy copying photos.

Here's a painting I did a while back.

I've done many paintings and sketchings since then but don't have a scanner. :(

Here is my artwork. My favorite artist is Jackson Pollack. I don't know why I'm even doing this because all of you are much better than me.

two illustrations for a flyer i did for a friend:

front side:

back side (with lots of free space for text)

both done in corel painter - a handfull of hour on the front side one, about 30-45 minutes on the back side one.

in the final product, with text and all, i ended up flipping both illustrations.
