I found Omar to be the character I most empathised & sympathised with in 'The Wire'. Constantly targeted by his fellow black people for being different, only doing what he had to do to protect himself & being portrayed as a scary monster for his effectiveness in doing so.

If you view this video through the lens of a black person, it is not even a video that demonstrates female oppression. The females are mostly white. So even if you are a feminist, the white females admiration of this black man is simply balancing out the equation of the inequality that black people suffer at the mercy of.

This again. A favorite. Reminds me of a friend. A friend who won't talk to me, so we'll never discuss this. Probably for the better because I don't know if it'd be a good idea if they heard this, though I'm sure they have.
Trying not to think too much about this reminding me of someone who won't talk to me, 'cause I really want to keep liking it.

I acknowledge this tune & its lyrics.

The Muslim-looking guy shouting in this video when inside the capitol, is not a mindless, deluded person of colour or an 'Uncle Tom' - but someone who is fighting a system that is trying to destroy his religion, that means everything to him, whether he says it outwardly, or not.
Nobody tells this guy what to think - he has his own conscience.
'The steal' is the language used to describe the symbolic theft of the identity of him & others like him, by the 'wokeologists'.
