Steely Dan - "Gaslighting Abbie"
If you've ever been the victim of gaslighting, called crazy...or involved romantically with a judicial a**hat...hopefully you can relate to the delicious absurdity of this song
The Joy of Gaslighting. *clinks glasses*
Very relatable. But I know my own thoughts and intentions precisely. I am very self aware and the only thing that reduces my self awareness is other people thinking I am too weird to socialise with and thus, I don't have the opportunity for a mirror to be reflected at me to show me what others think of me.
I live in the darkness, in large part. Nobody else bothers to illuminate me, so I illuminate my own mind, without their social interjection, by the power of analysis mostly.
The bonus is that other people's cognitive distortions do not affect me much, unless I choose to notice their distortions projected onto me.

For Stone Cold Steve Austin - he is bald, stupid, uncultured and disabled, according to everyone else. He drinks beer and he smells horrendeous to many people.
The 'glass' breaking in his entrance theme/intro is him breaking through his own glass ceilings - as a biological white male.

Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Sitting in the dark...good time for a double album.
I genuinely don't know your 'real' identity, since nobody speaks to me on here in private message unless I message them (yet I feel like you know me, somehow).
But, Happy New Year to you, too!
