No.

Beatles were infinitely more talented and creative. Even their early 60s work. Which was peak generic formula for them.

Fair enough if you don't like them, but have you heard London Calling, Sandinista!, and Combat Rock? There's nothing uniform about them.

No I'm not familiar with the clash. I know a few of their songs. I always liked Rock The Casbah the best. Better than their more raw earlier stuff.

Beatles are good even without instruments. They are admittedly lighthearted wholesome pop, and don't have the edge of other groups, which gives them that timeless almost catholic (universal) appeal.

This guy, John Lennon, he's good isn't he. I believe , that's one of his more finer compositions.

Great song. It was the soundtrack to the sequel of 'Looking For Mr Goodbar', but seems later to have been removed from that movie, at least on YouTube, probably for licensing reasons.

Yes, it's the same song and artiste that I posted half an hour ago, and it's fairly obvious that it's another mimed version, but this is visually quite a bit different, particularly in respect of the contrast between the polished, faultless official release and this makeshift VHS recording from TV. Even though it's miming, Laura puts on a great show here.
