something by The Smiths, but also it is weird that post punk is the only music genre I don't get sick of. Like I used to be big on being a metalhead, and half the time I don't even want to hear metal anymore....I still love metal but I don't always want to hear it. Or like during my adolescence and teens I was super into pink floyd but now I just get a little burst a couple times a year to listen to pink floyd non-stop till I once again get sick of it. Or during covid I got extremely into disco for a minute, and I do still like it but I went overboard listening to it during covid so sometimes I am not in disco mode when a disco song comes on so I have to skip it but other times I am very much into it.

But post punk I can listen to anytime and it feels right, that is the only genre I can say I have never gotten sick of. Because every other type of music I like there is only so much I can hear before getting burnt out for a time....but post punk never gets tired like that. Idk maybe post punk is my true favorite genre. But is there even a subculture for post punk???
