The Pretenders couldn't put a foot wrong as far as chart success went in the early 1980s, and this one is from circa 1982-83. They were still excellent at the 1985 Live Aid concert in Philadelphia, despite having lost two key members of the band to drug abuse by then. Not sure what happened after that, can't recall them being in the headlines for any reason...

This is a very scarce live recording of a T Rex performance of 'Jeepster'. I'm pretty certain it's from their 'mini-tour' of the UK in June 1972 (just 4 concerts). Probably the one in Cardiff on 10 June. I was at the T Rex Manchester concert on 16 June, and remember that very distinctive clanking lead guitar sound by Bolan, which wasn't audible on any of their other performances before or after this.
