Mmmmm.....and here's the other Genesis song from that era that I love, with the added bonus of the late, legendary, Steve Wright introducing it.

This version of the song, which I think is the Boystown Gang one from the early 1980s, is just brilliant. The 'Just Dance' visuals seem to change every few weeks or months, but I quite like the one above.

I remember you saying you didn't really know Genesis. (You said that, right?!)
I'm glad you're digging them now.

Follow You has been one of my favourite love songs since it came out in ... 78?

*Must add Genesis to my albums list.

Yes, but I still only know the two Genesis songs I posted above.

Here's a great late 1970s Donna Summer song. I remember posting it several years ago on WP, and it unleashed a real maelstrom of emotions when a certain member read certain things into it. I'll say no more, as even half a decade later it could still have repercussions, lol....

I don't know whether to laugh or roll my eyes.
I've had the same nonsense of people trying to read into song lyrics when I post.

I don't know your song but I'll check it out.

Here's the other Donna Summer song that came back to bite me circa 2018, lol.

We should make a thread of songs with suggestive meanings and let everyone analyse.

It would be futile to try to imagine exactly what a person is feeling or what they are emotionally relating to in a particular song unless they were to tell another person directly. Everyone has different life experiences and good songs are those that can apply to many different life scenarios/appeal to different emotions and which can vary in meaning from person to person in terms of how a person receives the message of a song.

Some people just like a catchy line in a song and it doesn't go any deeper than that.

18 songs, 19 minutes. This is what grindcore should sound like.
