That schedule before diagnosis would drive anyone crazy, not just an Aspie. (But extremely torturous for someone with AS). He was so strong and so hardworking to cope with as much as he did, you really have to admire him for it, and admire him for not giving up, but getting back into the business again so we could all experience his amazing music.
All that and more. He is a truly gifted, intelligent, beautiful person.
I feel proud to be an Aspie and an Aussie because of him!

I completely agree with everything you said.
I hate the way people say Craig is a jerk and a bad role model for AS. I've met him so I
know first hand that how genuinely lovely he is. The only reason he acted like a jerk in
the past is because of the incredible demands put on him by the music industry. He was so
misunderstood by journalists, none of them could understand him or make a connection with him
and as a result he was pigeonholed as some rude crazy guy who will soon kill himself.
Craig is the reason I came to accept my AS and actually like that aspect of myself. I think hes a brilliant role model for AS, especially the way hes turned his life around made so many positive changes and still continues to do what he loves. I'm proud to have AS because of Craig.
He is definitely not a jerk. Hes the opposite, a sweet, humble person who got put in the worst possible position for an aspie because he chose to do what he loves. Now that hes worked some out a lot of his issues and theres less stress on him, people are more able to see that he really is a nice person. You would understand he had decided to give it all up and forget about the band, but he didn't. He stuck with the band and the music because its what he lives for. His dedication and all that he went through for his music is truly an inspiration.
