Rap, modern pop music, and progressive metal. Just about everything else is tolerable, and there are some very good exceptions in the three genres I mentioned.

I can live with rap, drum and bass, Grime, hip hop :D

People who hate rap havent found the decent rappers yet. That, and it takes a lot to properly appreciate Rap and Grime

I'm open to finding rappers that I like, but I will never, ever like grime. It's just the whole fake-cockney chavness and deliberate musical ugliness of it all. Some hip hop actually sounds sort of classy, but grime never will - hence the name, 'grime'.

Im rather interested, you say you've heard grime and liked it, could you list the artist and song and ill let you know if its grime ? most people have trouble telling grime from hip / rap :D Theres no fake cockney-chavness, as you put it, most of it is telling stories of the MC's life, or the way they are. can you explain "delibarite musical ugliness"?

They were the most popular genres in my High School
Some people even listened to them seriously. Me not. I was often asked how to spell .......?

Country. Everytime I hear it I want to put a gun to my temple and blast away.

After being exposed to some country music recently, I discovered that I really don't mind country music. I still don't care for rap or heavy metal, though.

I wrote down Hip-Hop here, but it's more R'n'B that I can't stand.

Most rap, and the kind of cheesy pop you might see on the X-Factor/American Idol e.g. JLS, Boyzone, The Sugar Babes, Justin Beiber, stuff like that. I never listen to Classical, Jazz, Blues or Country as slow music like that bores me, though I do like some slow sad songs. My favourite genres are Metal (generally don’t like screaming, though I don’t mind it when mixed with other styles like with Slipknot) and rock, mainly from the 2000's. For me, the more creative/emotional/insane the music is, the better. :)

I dislike primarily 'RnB', 'Hip-Hop' and 'Rap', as well as 'Pop'.

I mainly like classical/neo-classical, and don't mind metal,
Techno can be kind of annoying as well as Trance-type music,
but not as much as Hip-hop music - not to mention I don't hear Techno nearly as much anyway for me to formulate any verdict,
but generally it seems okay... (I like stuff like the Half Life OST..)

Country is kind of annoying, though I don't hear it much anyway.

Unfortunately 'RnB'-type music is what the general populace seem to enjoy,
causing it to then be broadcast over most radio and television channels. o__o

There's a lot of good Techno out there.

I suppose.
I do kind of like some Techno, and it isn't a genre I have that much of a problem with in comparison to 'Hip-Hop' or 'Rnb'.

What genre of music is > this <? Is that Techno, or something relative..?

Computer game music.
I dunno, I would call that Progressive Electro or something.

I'm not the best person to tell you about Techno artists. I just had a good search for some and all I got was loads of Trance. Some people are very confused. They are NOT the same thing.

Here's an example of some songs YouTube - Techno best tracks ever part 2

I don't like Techno too. There are better and worse Techno artists, but I can't stand this umpa-umpa-umpa-umpa. I love electronic music, but without this chopping rhythm.

Unfortunately, Techno is veeeery popular here. And Eurodance.
I can often hear a lot of unwanted Techno. Some people even listen to it while driving. Very loud. Techno is usually very loud.

I want to make these people suffering. Punishment dance, forced dancing to death or hard exhausting.

If about r'n'b, pop etc., I can't stand most of toady Viva music. Mtv has less and less music, more idiot shows.

I like certain techno if it's like Cyberpunk Techno and I guess DDaft Punk's work if you consider that techno.

Music Genres I hate: Pop, R and B, Hip-hop, rap. I do admit though, there are a few people who operate in those genres that are awesome, like Mike Shinoda in terms of rap.
