Well, if it isn't Mr. PDQ Bach himself! Always getting into trouble.

They say that P.D.Q. went through eleven casks of Bavaria's finest ale while composing this masterpiece.

No classical music thread is complete without PDQ Bach! As the illegitimate twenty first child of J.S. Bach, he is often overlooked, and we can't have that!

Now I must get back to practicing. I have a lesson tomorrow and I'm totally distracted!

Here's the final movement of a cello concerto composed by J.S. Bach's fifth son, C.P.E!

This thread has made me want to go out and buy some new piano music. It's been a REALLY long time since I've learned something new. Now, if only I wasn't the world's most indecisive person and I could make up my mind about what I want to learn! lol

Hrmm, I have some Debussy, but definitely not this. I've always loved the dream-like quality of his music, but my love of it hasn't always translated well into actually playing it for some reason. lol Other than Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum from Children's Corner and Reverie, I've not learned much by him, but I might add this one to my list. I found another version of it on Youtube that shows the actual music as it's being played and the music itself looks easier than it sounds so I might have to give it a try!

Really like this one. I just read up on him, never heard of him. Imagine being trained in music by your dad JS Bach.

It's been a long day as I was gone most of it for a lesson, so I have not been around to post links. I will be starting this piece soon!
