So she wanted to bend the knee
Perplexed she became
She thought, "This reign of Alaska is very lame"
While Reika was drinking tea

To fit into a limerick song
But his posts make me laugh
So hard I passed gas
Oh well, it covers up the smell of the bong.

Not true by the way, just could't come up w/ anything better. Besides self-deprecating humor is somewhat amusing don't you agree?

At work on the 'net I do scan.
With a patient perched on the bedpan.
While the patient waits there,
And to show that I care,
I type just as fast as I can!

As I work on my project for school
I learn that it is not very cool
Over Thanksgiving, I must finish it
Slowly as I can bit by bit
Before I turn myself into a fool

While conversing with a biker all greasy,
He said, "A life on two wheels is quite breezy!".
On his beard he did tug,
"I just hate all the bug...
GUTS, that collect on my teeth... makes me queasy!"

She screamed, "Sometimes You're just a BIG BOOB!"
He thought for a minute,
Then on his face he did grin it,
saying, "NO! The Big Boob on YouTube was Your Boob!"

I noticed Reika's limerick does not rhyme
It has to go in time
After I meet my friend named Ned!

As a Punker, a life I would make
But one thing I just could not take

My poor head would go
And I'd wind up with a massive headache

IT'S THANKSGIVING oh Happy are we!
Yet, I've no turkey, no relatives, no t.v.!
But I still will have fun,

I can argue quite well with just me!






In California, it's Tofu not Meat!
It's a healthy Thanksgiving Day treat!
No eggs, milk, or turkey,
I'll agree it's a mite quirky,
But our BM's will be rather fleet!

Post Turkey Day Blues

My kid's piggy bank I am raiding.
The sale's I am investigating!
To the marketeers I shall fall,
Fighting hordes at the Mall,
Could any one day be more humiliating?

No way am I going to the stores,
Fighting off all the "sale-whores."
I'll stay here online
and shop on my time
Althrough Alaska shipping costs more.

I'm not sure what went on in my mind.
I got up too early by my time.
Waiting hours to shop,
It was all a big FLOP!
I had wandered right into the DMV LINE!

(DMV stands for Department of Motor Vehicles in the States... a notoriously LOOOOONG and SLOOOOOW line to get through)

DMV in California is the worse
You"ll leave the place in a hearse.
Half hour in Alaska
What more could you aska
Bureaucracy seems to be cursed.

O.K. I know I'm really reaching with the "aska" but what can I say, I'm not that creative. Remembering DMV in California, you had to take the day off work to go in Sacramento. I finally got wise and drove north out of the city up to Rocklin and used DMV there. It cut the time down to a few hours instead of ALL day.
Not a big one for keeping appointments so did't use that option.
