Humans are like small fish in a sea of infinite uncertainity, each striving to find another like it's self.
When two alike find each other boundries are formed, bonds established.
Meanwhile other like another join together to form a different group.
Over time others join these groups, and as this happen more boundries are formed and more bonds estsablished
Thus cultures are formed and as these grow in number, smaller groups start to appear.
Somtimes one of these groups will grow too large to be part of it's parent group and will move apart
Over time as groups grow largers they will fight with another group for land, food or another resorce
This is the start of war.

the whole thing is metephorical as you well know
