Lately I have been interested in singing, so I would like to have my five best reasons why for this particular list....
THE TOP 5 REASONS WHY I WANTED TO SING SO MUCH:
5. To get away from the drugeries of work and home: Going to work and being at home are important, but I just don't want it to be my whole life. I need some sort of hobby to get away from the grim reality we are living in. I just don't want certain things to eat me alive internally if not physically.
4. To prove my family wrong: My family has always said to me for the past to the present that my voice is too flat to become a truly good singer. My family is really known for not having a distinctive singing voice. With a little help from my private vocal teacher, I can prove the whole family wrong.
3. To become the king of the karaoke bars: I usually get crowd pleasing cheers, however it is mostly from drunken patrons. I want to have a stand out gimmick and voice that both sober and drunken audience can appericiate. If Michael Jackson is the king of pop, Elvis Presley the king of rock n' roll, and James Brown, the godfather of soul then I shall become the karaoke king.
2. To audition for American Idol: I know I am going to get alot of *beep* for this, but I wanted to audition for that show. When the auditions came in Seattle, a few years ago, I chickened out and pretended to be anti-Idol because I didn't want people to think I am a sell out for even auditioning. As long as I have fun and get on TV, I will not disapoint anybody including myself.
AND # 1 REASON WHY I WANTED TO SING SO MUCH...
I want to sing and perform with Linda Cardellini....For almost ten years, I thought Linda was not only goregous, but talented when I saw her on "Freaks and Geeks". When I saw her movies such as The Unsaid and Grandma's Boy, she could also sing very well too. I would like to ask Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Kara DuGhaurdi that even if I don't make it to the next round on American Idol that if I could duet with her on the last show. I don't care what people say about her, I thought she is one of the best and most beautiful actresses that come to Hollywood today. Plus, I heard she is a very nice person in real life as well. It would be a dream come true if I can get the opprotunity to do that.
