I'm considering their online courses for photography. I'll be moving to San Francisco next year, so I figured this would be a good choice.

Has anyone received education from this school? If so, were you satisfied?

Hey L,

Academy of Art has a good reputation. The only criticism I've heard is that it's commercially oriented, but that's not a bad thing. They are HUGE, and growing, and seem to be well connected for networking. I knew someone who worked there, and he liked it too,

For fine art photography the San Francisco Art Institute is probably better

I think the program was started by Ansel Adams.
I don't know if they any on-line courses.
