i looked at it but it looks to professional for my level of drawing skills.

also i need some place that is more open to new people not some place that is some kinda clic or whatever you call it.

Well, I've been on it for over 2 years now and never found it cliquey at all. The 'rating' can be a bit fake, but as long as you don't take it too seriously, it's a good site. The drawing talent varies enormously; scroll down the main page to 'recent drawings' and you'll see what I mean.

i joined but i see no where to submit art just to draw online and i can barely draw with a mouse.

i have a tablet but i'd rather just show things i already have.

Ah right, I mistook your post; you can't submit old art to RMD. There is an option to add links to other sites there though.

Some of the links are to sites called 'redbubble' and 'artician'; I haven't been on them, but perhaps they may be more what you are looking for.

Try DeviantArt

It is populated by all levels of artist from beginning to professional

And its not specific to one medium; its for drawing, painting, photography, web design, computer graphics, computer programming, pretty much any visual medium.

Good Luck

Specifically because of DeviantArt?

Don't give up.

pretty much yes, i hardly got any comments so i never knew if my style was any good, i had at least 30 watchers and all were either dead or they just hated me. or at least that's what i believe.

the only people that ever paid any notice of me left or got banned. and those were my real life friend and bluekat.

in an act of desperation i posted here in the art forum same thing.

i think now because of this i'm a crap artist and i may as well give up, what am i suppose to do?

I'm on deviantart too; I hardly have any watchers or comments. That's not the point of drawing; it should be fun. You don't need other people to tell you if your style is good or not.

i used to draw for fun too, i filled up 7 books in ten years.

i guess i lost the meaning in art, i forgot what made it fun. and i never like what i see as the final result. i can hardly look at my art anymore.

Perhaps you should take a break and try something new.

Then if you miss doing art you might rekindle why you loved it in the first place.

A re-discovery.

i have taken a break for nearly 2 years, and i don't know what esle to do i already do to much in my opinion.

i do some 3d, video, woodwork, sims, stories, art [every once in a blue moon], and researching for my theories.

the video i do can be anything from parodies to code videos to amvs and other random game vids.

i need to set a day for everything or some kinda schedual but i can't stick to one.

Well, I've been on Deviant art for 3 years, but only started posting a few weeks ago. I think one pic got six views...;) Not to cast aspersions, but for some reason, much of Deviant Art seems to be drawn on ruled paper...;)

I'm over at Renderosity, which is mostly 3d art, but there's a hundred thousand members, and I've got over 400 views on a coupla pics. Membership is free, loads of freebies and tutorials (and spendy things, but that's how they pay the bills) for the taking.

There's also the Art Zone (or was, I've lost track of the URL..;) Daz3d (has a free program called Daz Studio, and a gallery, but they're more professional than I can match). Runtime Dna, etc, is another site.

There used to be a site called Elfwood Gallery(I think), that was heavily into drawn art. BRB...ok, it's still there . Loads of stuff, all levels of talent.

http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/

If you really want to go nuts...this place has over a thousand URLs for galleries; from rank amateur to people You've Heard Of (giger and Roger Dean, for example). About a third of the sites are 'club 404' (not there), but you can use the Wayback Machine (internet archive dot org) to see them. NOTE - some of these are not family-friendly (some are actually kinda gross...;)
