Anybody participating in National Novel Writing Month? This is my first year participating in such an event, so I'm really excited. Writng a 50,000 word novel sounds daunting. I wonder if any of you are participating this year.

Making a quick outline always helps me. Just an outline with the main characters, main point of each act, and main setting, and, oh yeah, of course, the theme. So while I have the main plot, I can still be spontaneous on how my characters are going to get there.

So anybody else participating?

I did it last year, but I went off half cocked and didn't make it past about 26 or 27k. This year though, I've got a plan, and I'm unemployed, which should help a bit. So yea, you'll see me there. My name is Kip Cathey on there, go ahead and friend me if you want.
