Sounds like military, wouldn't be surprised if it was something linked to the U.S air force...

Good band. Reminds me of a lot of interesting stuff that came out around 2004/2005.

I find this band utterly unique and they sort of dedicate their style to this chaotic legato that just accelerates as the track progresses. I've always liked loud bands but there comes a point where you just get enough, but this band I can repeat over and over listening to the tracks for hours. The melody and tempo just melds so nicely making it top notch quality every time. Shame they separated.

One went solo and started a new band called "Sebastien Grainger and the Mountains". I need to check them out.

So I just did.

Sebastien Grainger and the Mountains

Video number one seems to be aiming for some kind of "The Killers" theme and is no longer original as Death From Above 1979. I'm not saying The Killers are a bad band, I very much like them but by adopting such a style and absorbing a tune that sounds the same they no longer stick out and become just another copy, a branch growing out of the same tree. There is nothing unique and innovative here...
Look for yourself.

Sebastien Grainger - Who Do We Care For?

Second vid seems to have gone and absorbed some The Hives/The Strokes cross breathe. I love The Strokes but I HATE The Hives. It's a little more fast pace and high pitched but still it sounds like any new Indy Rock group out there.
I just wished they would have stayed strong and continued down their fast pace chaotic scream Punk.

The songs don't suck all that much but knowing where they once were and did, and now seeing this... I can't fully understand why people just don't stick to what is good and new, why they have to doubt their chosen path and just stick it out. But fact is that they were both gliding further apart from each other and only spoke a little right before the concerts. Shame... guess they had to different ideals. But as they are both making s**t that can not be compared to what they were creating together I hope for a reunion.

Wanted to post the Fred Falkes and Alan Brax remix of Black History Month, the track which originally alerted me to Death From Above 1979 and still sounds excellent. No youtube, plenty of links online but nothing will work for me, unsurprising since I'm currently using Ubuntu and nothing does work. Seek it out though.

I see but I don't like that track, was the only one that made it to MTV but I think it's their worst as well, I always skip it when I hear the beginning on winamp...
