I like making my own avatars in Illustrator and Photo Shop and some found online.
All are made to fit WP standards 130x160 (or smaller) and under 16 kb.

Feel free to throw your favorites in or take what you like.

I usually look for pictures from wikis, official websites, or take screenshots from YouTube videos, edited through Paint. My current avatar is a screenshot from an episode of Blake's 7, and in fact is when Avon is saying the very quote in my sig. Those lines are towards the end of this brief trailer...

Did the same with the House avatar I posted it's from this weeks latest episode.

Watching your clip made me miss Battlestar Galactica so much.

You mean the old one or the new one? Blake's 7 > Battlestar Galactica. I mean, where else but Blake's 7 can you have an episode with homophobic insults, rape threats, murder, gambling, drinking, double dealing, and a homicidal chess-playing dwarf?

New Battlestar. I'm not that much into space series though, or any series for that matter except anime. But I've been thinking of starting to watch the old Star Trek series with William Shatner, don't know if I will like it but I feel that I should give it a go.
I'm much more in to documentaries and movies... I tend to start watching some series but then I just call bull s**t on most of them and think it's a waste of time.

I do to at times. But sometimes You want something else and since we're rather like minded in some ways we might find a fitting new avatar in here if people add what they like.

Time will tell if people are attracted to this idea or if they simply just get the avatars on their own, then it will be the fall of this thread... so be it.

Was just meant to be helpful in a creative way.
