I think that this particular song is silly, however, as a 38 year old, I remember when Duran Duran was at the top of their game with "Hungry Like the Wolf" and "Reflex" and "Rio" - they were catchy tunes and easy to dance to.

Forget Duran Duran. Look instead for Duran Duran Duran. German electronica with a slight sense of humour.

I didnt find that on YouTube....

As for Duran Duran I like this beat

And this song reminds me of the magic year of 1993 when I was 18 and left my mothers house to live on my own adventures

Hungry like a wolf is not bad either

and their Bond theme is of course classical!

My fav song is a song about the fear of atomic weapons: Is There Something I Should Know...

I am just a 19 year old who got hooked on Justin Timberlake produced- 'Falling Down' and I soon discovered that this wonderful band made a lot of wonderful songs in the past, like... 'Please please tell me now, is there something I should know...'

But personally, I think the music recently sound fresh too and really I enjoy it.

Besides Nite Runner (also another urban music song by Duran Duran, just made sharper by Justin Timberlake in my own opinion) another favorite song by DD I like is 'Sunrise', the theme song of a noted morning TV show in Australia:

A guilty pleasure of my youth...they were one of the first bands on MTV (which actually played music videos when it first started...;)

I love Duran Duran. I think that they're one of the better groups from the 80s.

Duran Duran was INDEED one of the better groups from the 80's. Seriously, who didn't get the chills when they heard "View to a Kill" when that particular James Bond movie was shown?
I think "Men At Work" were pretty good too. I always hear their tunes when I go food shopping.
I watched them on the telly a couple of years ago. They're old (like me) but they still put on an awesome show!

I'm quite fond of Duran Duran. Notorious, Skin Trade, A View, and Reflex are among my favourite songs of the '80s. I thought Ordinary Day was okay, but Come Undone and their cover of Perfect Day left me cold, as did their comeback i nthe mid-2000s. Still, I bought their compilation album 'Decade' (singles from 1980-1989) in May 2008, and loved it. I played it DAILY for an entire month.

Funny, Hungry Like The Wolf was never a hit in the Netherlands, and never has airplay... so I only heard Hungry for the first time last year when I bought Decade.

Ironically, my first exposure to Duran Duran was their first song, Planet Earth. The second song I listened was their second single Careless Memories. The third single I listened to, however, was Is There Something I Should Know...
