I'm in the middle of it, I have to read it for english class. If you've read it, what did you think of it?

I liked "A Separate Piece". It has been a long time since I read it, but I thought it was a good book. :)

I read it a while ago, as my uncle's wife recommended it. Finish so we can discuss.

When I read the book, I was amazed that people could think outside what the general population could think. That it was alright to feel differently than other 'citizens' of the same country or state or even in my own family.

Reading this book became rather pivitol to me learning to think critically and not just follow the norm..

I read A Separate Peace in my sophomore-level english class in high school. Most of the class, from what I could gather, seemed pretty bored with it. It was okay for me. It wasn't one of the best books I have ever read, but it wasn't bad.

Same here, 10th grade English. I didn't mind it, I liked the analytical thought placed therein. No, I won't offer any cliffs notes but suffice to say its a playground for the author's introspect via the main character.
