I was out walking and I had an idea.

In a world not too dissimilar to our own, there is a key difference.

Autism is not as tolerated as it is in ours.

Publicly derided, any and all research into the Autism Spectrum has been forbidden. Any who dare delve into the Forbidden Schools of Thought...disappear.

Any child with Autism or Aspergers are called ret*ds, freaks or idiots and few make it even to adolescence.

It is now the year 2015...and the Government has grown tired of the "freaks" infesting the system and draining resources.

To that extent, they have established camps they call "Rehabilitation Camps."

Now with autistics world-wide being herded into these camps like cattle, it comes down to a few to expose a secret that could shatter every Government on Earth.

It comes down to those few to stand for their kind, to draw a line in the sand and say no more.

What shall they discover in the ruins that lie beneath the cities...what terrible secrets is the world founded upon?

And will it be enough?

Essentially, this idea puts the struggle we Autistics have on to the world stage. The struggle we have with society and integrating with it.

Only on a more extreme scale.

What is scary is that this could very well happen with but a few shifts in public opinion. It would be so very easy to demonise autism.
