Look at his artwork;

And some of his music videos;

It seems so obvious, ducks, artwork, strange fingermovements, and avoiding eye-contact.

What do you think?

You'll never really know until you ask him.

You never know. I met Jason Mraz (back in 2002 well before he was famous) and he was super detached and I thought he was kind of an a**hole. He's stoned pretty much all the time, so that could also influence his art and his behavior. But yea he really was in his own little world, whereas all his friends and the rest of his band were very personable.

I've seen a lot of people do similar finger movements. And about the videos, the two things I see in common between those two videos are that he's a loner (in that he's by himself) and that he's always on the move. Looks more like the style in which he does his videos.

In "I'm Yours" (awesome song by the way), I hear a bit of artificial-ness in the chorus. I think what I'm hearing is slightly sloppy autotuning. I could say it is because his voice is monotonous and that his soft singing is supposed to cover it up being that a monotonous voice is a common trait with Aspies, but that's not always the case. Plenty of other Aspies in the music business have proven to have great control over their voices.

And as far as his artwork goes, what is Autistic about it? If it's the clumsy drawing, I've seen people do worse self-portraits which are even very childish looking. Go check out the gallery of self portraits done by some of the cast of Heroes. And I suck at art.

Either way, although I'm not really into his music (except for "I'm Yours"), it's still got a cool vibe. Hope he goes far, Aspie or not.

Maybe you won't even know if you would ask him...

True. Every artists has their eccentricities. We should appreciate his talent and uniqueness instead of speculating whether he's autistic or not. Besides, it's not autism that makes people awesome.
