OK. I am laughing so hard right now! I thought it would be so funny if Rage against the machine beat the Xfactor but I didn't for a minute think it would ACTUALLY HAPPEN!! ! Funny funny stuff!

I could never understand the whole fuss about Christmas number one in England, but this is good news :)

I am so glad RATM made the Christmas #1 in England and beat out X Factor. Someone should try and do this every year with a good song. If Fairytale Of New York by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl had this much support, surely it would have hit #1 by now. :D

I'm so glad the point has been proven, and RATM went to #1. Next year, it should be their song "Take The Power Back".

Fairytale is a terrible, terrible, terrible, awful, atrocious, horrible song. I hate hearing it every Christmas. I'm glad that the RATM vs XF business has stopped it being played every five minutes.

I wouldn't tell you if I didn't care.

I don't care about RATM, but I absolutely hate X Factor (or Sob-Story Factor as it's also known), so I'm glad they didn't make it to number 1 because X Factor is complete crap, the contestants that got into the final rounds were all crap, the idiots who voted got conned because it's obviously fixed, it only exists to make Simon Cowell richer than he already is, the whole thing is full of stupid sob stories, and the winners are hardly ever heard of after the show is done anyway (luckily).

Plus, the less money going to the music industry the better (profits from RATM went to charity).

I don't really like X Factor, but I still watch it so I know what everyone's on about, LOL. I wanted Joe to win, but I don't like that stupid Decline song (Miley Cyrus sang it first. 'Nuff said). I rarely like the X Factor songs even if I like the person who wins. So yeah, I'm glad RATM beat X Factor.

(Just found out the song I hate is called The Climb, not Decline, LOL.  I'm always mishearing song lyrics)

I wish X Factor was in decline!
