Sure I like her music, especially the first two (solo) albums.

EDIT: wait, what? I posted on this understanding it was a thread about Tori Amos, not Evanescence.

My favorite is Little Earthquakes, because it shows so much Kate Bush influence. But then, so did Under the Pink.

And Kate was one of my primary obsessions for more than a decade...

I'm also a fan of Evanesence, even though they're a bit emo.

I likes 'em, but having someone my age like 'em sucks the coolness right out of them...;)

I used to like them, but now it seems like all the coolness just got sucked out of them. I don't understand why?

I consider them a guilty pleasure, like Nightwish. They're a bit too emo/suicide laden for my taste, but I like some of the songs from The Open Door, not so keen on Fallen, which is usually supposed to be better.

Actually, now that I think about it (and listened to those albums again) there are good songs on Fallen, I'd take the first half of each and put them together, leaving the second halves of both albums out. :)

Bring Me To Life and Call Me When You're Sober are good songs. Amy Lee is one of my favorite female vocalists.

I like em because Amy Lee used to live about a half mile from where I'm at now.

I use to joke that I was dating Amy Lee, except she is married now and I am engaged myself.

love em. i think they keep a lot of people from committing suicide. because there music makes you feel like your not the only one who has such bad things happen. and listening to there music makes you able to vent out your negative emotions in a positive way so you can morn and heal.

if i ever met the band i would then them because at the worst time in my life when i was so alone they were there in the form of music and helped me out.

i know they are real heroes and there music really does SAVE LIVES!
a big hug to them all!
