I just bought myself Kafka's the Metamorphosis and Nietzche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra. I felt I needed to get some brain food.

I tried reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra a while back, but I didn't manage to finish it.

I later read on Amazon reviews that the Penguin translation (the one I tried to read) is a particularly difficult one to follow - so that's my excuse.
(Maybe I should learn German!)

I knew a guy who was a philosophy graduate, and he recommended Nietzche's Human, All Too Human to me. I certainly found it a bit easier to follow.
