I'm working on a comic about a little girl with AS. She feels like she is from another planet and one day while walking in the woods she comes across a crashed UFO. All of the aliens are dead except a baby. The girl hears sirens and sees milatary vhehicles and assumes they know about the UFO runs home (she dosen't live that far). Her parents think the alien is an animal at first and when they hear about the UFO and the dead aliens they decide to adopt it. The neighbors think he is a child adopted from another country and the girl veiws him as her litlte brother and best friend. Throughout the comic, the girl learns to embrace her AS and teaches the alien the ways of the world while finding out the true motives of certian autism groups and while trying to protect the alien from the government. The alien can speak a little English, he sounds like a child learning to speak. He sounds like "Fred" from You Tube. Basicaly, he's a "gray". I took the image of a gray in my mind and took creative freedom with the face. Basicaly it's the "nose" and mouh of my pet lizard (he even sticks his tounge out like my lizard does) with Bambi's eyes. He can't take human forum but when he goes out in public he wears a hoodie and a knit cap pulled over his face.

If I get this off the ground, I want to call it Wrong Planet because not only is the alien not from earth, the girl feels like she isn't originaly frome here. If I get famous I'll endorse this Wrong Planet? Would you read this?

Is it just me or do I feel as if I am talking to myself?

I would read it if I read comics. I don't know that it needs to be about autism per se, perhaps just about differences in people (and aliens) in general.

Although the character concept has value and also the relationship to the little girl I imagine a central underlying theme is necessary such as the alien wanting to contact its real relatives and what non-human powers it has and how it relates to humans in general. It's psychology could form a platform for appreciating how silly and illogical humans are.

Because I want the main character to have true reason to feel diffrent. I want to feature an AS character that isn't a sterotype.
