Has anyone read Charles Lamb, the late 18th and early 19th century essayist? I think he might have been an Aspie. He noticed the kinds of things we would. His wrintings have a lot of vignettes in which he seems to be observing people but few social interactions. It seems like he viewed solitude as more pleasant and good for thinking than opressive, but that could just be a result of his childhood isolation.
