I like to let the music make its own video in my head.

I actually don't usually like seeing someone else's vision of what it all means - Kate Bush and Tori Amos being rare exceptions, their videos often give me a deeper understanding of what the song is about, but they're both very hands-on in the creation process. Even so, I enjoy the music more without them.

I sometimes do that, it depends on the song wether i even watch the video or not

Fall Out Boy - "Sugar, We're Goin Down." Old song, but the video is very symbolic - the boy's horns, as well as the dad's cloven feet, could represent anything from prejudice to human mortality (the boy's horns could symbolize an obvious illness, while the dad's feet might stand for him being sick too and the daughter ignoring him in pursuit of her lover).
