(a sign of a lot of work to do; putting it off)
that was nice in the days back then, you could look at the turning of the record, or get lost in the cover, now there's that plastic with just one goal, falling as soon as possible!

another fine Frenchie :mrgreen:

It's madness
To be always sitting around in sadness,
When you could be learning the Steps of Gladness.
You'll be happy when you can do
Just six or seven.
Begin today. You'll find it nice:
The quickest way to Paradise.
When you practice,
Here's the thing to know,
Simply say as you go:
I'll build a Stairway to Paradise,
With a new Step ev'ry day.
I'm going to get there at any price;
Stand aside, I'm on my way!
I got the blues
And up above it's so fair;
Shoes,
Go on and carry me there!
I'll build a Stairway to Paradise
With a new Step ev'ry day.
I'll build a Stairway to Paradise,
With a new Step ev'ry day.
I'm going to get there at any price;
Stand aside, I'm on my way!
I got the blues
And up above it's so fair;
Shoes,
Go on and carry me there!
I'll build a Stairway to Paradise
With a new Step ev'ry day.

"Homemade Aeroplane" recorded by Linda Bennett and used on Captain Kangaroo back in the early 1970s.
"Manhattan Spiritual" recorded by the Reg Owen Orchestra in 1959. (was actually quite popular then)
"Dick-A-Dum-Dum" recorded by Des O'Connor in 1969. (also popular then, used in Mr. Bean episode at New Years Eve)
"Saturday Evening Ghost" recorded by Peter Pan Orchestra in the early 1970s?
"Miller's Cave" recorded by various country artists, but how about the recording by jazz artist Louis Armstrong?

And now for a really obsure one:
"The Adler Sock" recorded by The Denims

Yes, I know, some of these were popular and charted. But today, they are rarely heard, and I bet few people have heard of them. Let me know if you have.
